I was very concerned when I went camping this last weekend if this was going to keep me warm. I would suggest that you never underestimate flannel, we slept in 20-degree weather, and this kept me so warm. My daughter's sleeping bag wasn't warm enough so she ended up climbing in this thing with me, and then we both got hot lol. I highly recommend this sleeping bag if you need something to keep you warm in cold weather.

It does come with the flannel liner on the inside which is nice but the basic model is thin so in New England , it is good from June 1 to October 1 if you like to sleep somewhat warm. It comes with a stuff sack that compresses it quite nicely so it won't take up much room in your trunk as an emergency blanket in snow country like the West. Currently being used as a blanket on a bed thought it has a decent zipper system

Good quality bag. It is comfortable. But some may find it difficult to wash and dry as it is made of cotton.
