I had managed to break my 2016 CX-5 OEM key FOB trying to change the battery. I bought this case and the OEM inards fit perfectly. The new FOB works great. A very good value.

People expecting this to be a full key replacement, smdh, read the description lol. It works perfectly as advertised. Once u close the shell with your existing key parts inside it is difficult to open back up, I thought it wasn't working at first but it turns out I just needed a new battery. Theyr inexpensive and easy to find once I got the new battery in and again the existing inards from my previous shell it worked like a charm. So glad I didn't have to go to the dealer and pay hundreds of dollars for a new key. Miss the Mazda logo but it feels just as sturdy as the original. Will purchase again for my second key when I need to.

My old shell was broken, I gave this one a try and it's just perfect. CX-5 2018 with just the door lock/unlock and horn.The rubber fits the internal's electronic. Even the key slide match the OEM one ... so you can just slide your key in the new shell.
