I bought this FMP for my DP1 and I am not at all disappointed. I was able to fit my memo pad along with 4-5 aid memoires and still have room for more. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering it

Dimensions were bang on and the finish was great. No loose threads on the seams and zipper is smooth. Works great in protecting my notebook and a few smaller documents, slots make it possible to carry some useful slim pen-tools around in there too.

Exactly what I wanted. Only two of the outside pen pockets can actually fit pens, and they need to be shorter pens, but the other two pockets I have used for pen refills and AAA batteries for the voice recorder I have zipped up inside with the notebook. Makes a good journalist's kit.

This simple but super piece of kit protects your 5x3 Rite-In-The-Rain waterproof notebook (or any other flip notebook of the same dimensions) from dust, dirt and physical damage; tearing, folding, ripping, etc. It also forms a handy storage place for your waterproof pen or pencil (4 pen sleeves on one of the covers).Additionally, the inner sleeves that attach the front and rear covers of the notebook to the zip cover can be used to selectively present a certain amount of pages from the notebook. Store pages before the ones of interest along with the front cover in the front sleeve pocket, and ones after along with the rear cover in the corresponding rear sleeve pocket. You now have quick access to only the pages you need, saving a lot of flipping through.Not sure if the case itself is waterproof (doubtful) or even water-resistant (it could be proofed with NikWax or similar), but if you’re using a RTIR waterproofed notebook inside it becomes largely irrelevant.I use my 5x3 notebook for route planning, timings, points of interest, etc, so the extra protection this cover gives - especially when pulling it in & out of rucksack and jacket pockets on a regular basis - makes it well worth having.

I purchased this to use for keeping my cut lists in while working. I spend a lot of time framing in the rain, and this cover used with a Rite In The Rain notepad has made my day juuuuust a little more productive. Good construction, quality product. Would absolutely recommend.
