I ordered this item for my nine-year-old son to use during colder month youth sports. He is a slightly above average height nine-year-old and the size small fits him very well, with room to grow in terms of length. He recently used them for an outdoor contact football game. We had no issues putting on the pants over his compression underwear and under his football pants. We were then able to add a pair of to the knee sports socks over the compression pants. The quality of the material is very nice and soft to the touch. It also appears that it will stand up to tough wear and tear. I highly recommend this product to any parents who have children that play competitive sports in colder environments.
