Took a bit to attach to the old hose but it was more a dexterity issue than a puzzle. Once installed the new wand is an improvement. It's longer than the original so it's ergonomics are much more effective. It's easy to disassemble and clean. Worth the price and time to make the change.

Precision manufactured and works much better than the original sprayer that came with my consumer grade RoundUp sprayer. Although I have it a 5 rating for easy to install, I must point out that I thought it would come with the right connection for my sprayer, but it did not. Easy fix. I got some plastic tubing of the right size-- about 1.5 inches long or so-- inserted it in the sprayer an then into the hose an wrapped it with electrical tape. It is easy to install even if you have to cut the end off and do what I did to get it going. In about 15 minutes I was ready to be a professional grade sprayer. There are filters to keep the nozle from clogging up-- absent on the original RoundUp sprayer. So I suspect that this until will last a long time if not for the precision engineering, but for the presence of a cleanable filter at the right place. Design quality.

The entire construction is plastic, I wish it was metal for the handle, wand and tip.

Have an old (at least 10 years) Roundup backpack sprayer. Great investment. Works well, mostly bulletproof as long as you clean it after you use it (who knew Roundup gels after a while?), pretty comfortable to carry, and has lasted really well. The sprayer wand started leaking. The handle started hanging up because of a scratch in the handle channel. Leaking spray wand + Roundup = bad, and a couple of the O-rings were looking sketchy, so I just decided to replace it.A little STICKER SHOCK, since for this price you can buy a whole new 1-gallon carry-able sprayer, but a carry-able sprayer - well, you have to carry it. Eh - $18. I'll live.WELL worth the money. It's built more solidly than the wand that came with the sprayer. It's made out of tougher plastic, so I can't see scratching the valve channel easily on this one. The screw threads in the handle for removing the filter are better molded. The wand itself is stiffer. And the hose attachment cinches up much more tightly. Have to say I DID have to cinch it up tightly to make it stop leaking, but the old one would eventually come loose.Well worth it. Hoping for another ... 10 years? ... out of my sprayer.

Fits fine on my Round up backpack sprayer. Spray pattern and quality not as good as original, but works fine. Reason my first one crapped out was because I left it outside (none heated garage) over winter and it cracked. My advice, take it in the house or somewhere temperature controlled and this wont happen to you.
