I was skeptical when buying these. Thought they would slip easily. I was wrong, they do not slip. At all. You don't even need to tighten them that much! They also come with the extra longer bolt, if you were wondering!!!

The ability to make fine angle adjustments is amazing and once tightened, it's snug with no movement. This also comes with the longer bolt and knob.

one slice is perfect for the rocket launcher on each side on the kayak, (simple lift up and down, no need to wind, unwind to adjust your rod angle)

Bought these slip discs to gain more control on my scotty no 265 fly rod holder;although it will work with one disc(to a lesser degree than with 2), it is not possible to use the two discs because the side screw on the rod holder is too short.Description should say so.
