I have used several Seiko Cable Printers for the last 20+ years. They are great printers, but perform best with Genuine Seiko Labels. I tried some generic labels once, and they do not "feed" correctly as they do not have any markings on the back of the label backing strip. They do not always stop in the right place, and may stop incorrectly most of the time. The Printer uses these markings to "home" the labels to the tear off guide on the printer to make it easy to tear off either one or many labels. This package of labels was the same price as I paid nearly 20 years ago.......how often do you get to say that, and they arrived earlier than expected. Bravo!
