Also it didn't really self inflate. I mean, it expanded, but I had to add air to get it to firm up to be usable. I just went and got an air mattress and sent this back.Maybe I had the wrong expectations? Idk

I own 4 Coleman self inflatable camping mats from several years ago, and they are still in great shape. I purchased 2 new ones for car camping. Unfortunately, they are now very cheaply made, extremely narrow and just will not inflate much at all. They won’t even inflate enough to get rid of all the wrinkles, they are worthless to be honest. These are going back to Amazon.

At first I thought I loved this sleeping pad. As a side-sleeper, I need the extra thickness so my hips and shoulders don’t poke into the ground, and the first time I used this sleeping pad (in overnight lows of ~50 degrees) it seemed great.The third time I used it, on a trip where the overnight low was just about freezing, the valve and the seam next to the valve developed a leak. All the air came out within 30 minutes and I was left on the cold ground all night. I can seal the seam, but at the time I thought the valve had broken. Coleman’s website won’t service this under warranty - it states to soak the valve in warm water and let it dry before using again. Not very useful for actual camping, in the type of conditions that call for a sleeping pad like this one.

It hold air well, 2 weeks without having to re-inflate. Comfort is good, quality seems good as well. Some reviews said it is a little narrow, but it has the same width as my previous sleep mats.
