Just received them today, overall the quality looks solid, I only have one concern.. I'm worried the adjustment screw will work it self loose being near the transom of the boat from vibrations. And if that adjustment screw loosens enough you could lose one af your favorite fishing rods during boating. Also, ust a minor issue is the black protective ring is not adhered on, it will slip off very easily. I would definitely secure that with some adhesive before it is lost.I will update after review after a few fishing trips.Update. First time use...l the black grommet cap fall off in the water from the first fish hook up! Make sure you glue them on, they vote off way to easy. The adjustment screws was solid and held good.

I bought this to mount on the back deck of my pontoon boat to hold tarp poles. Haven’t install yet due to boating season being over. Looks and feels very sturdy. I just have to buy some stainless steel screws or bolts to mount.
