Just received it and tried using it but long screw to hold the bushing broke midway during the bushing removal

Broke first use. Did get the job done but single use is crazy.

Fit my rockshox monarch rear unit and the new bushings tightened up some play or wiggle I was having in the rear. Used on both bushings. Inexpensive fix even with a bushing kit. Used on other bushings on my ATV as well. Lots of options with the included fittings.

The only way I could get the bushing out was to put the wing nut in a vice and turn to screw cap on the opposite end. This got the threads stripped and I had to use a bolt cutters to get the tool off my shock. This was on the first use. There are other designs that have nuts on both ends you can turn with a socket wrench. This seems like a better design in hindsight and I’ll be purchasing one of those. It’s a few bucks more but seems like the better way to go.

I tightened and loosened it off several times during the process as the screw threads were bindings somewhat. Otherwise it got the inset out.

Product worked fine for the first bushing. Then things went south when trying to remove the second bushing, resulting in the thread bolt snapping in half. There are surely better options, but needed something quickly. Lesson learned.
