This carrier bearing does fit a 2005 Chevy 3500.

Replaced center bearing on my Duramax. Was a perfect fit and no problems after 15k miles. Replaced my cousins center bearing with this also everything went together good except for the that goes on after that the rubber boot slides on and holds it in place. It was way too big for the boot to go over and I had to reuse the boot that was removed From the truck with the original bearing. Not sure what happened there but other than that no complaints. I’ll have to wait and see after more miles are put on both trucks.

worked as should but had it removed shortly after install , to install a full length driveshaft.

Item was delivered fast but item did not fit, even when item page said, This item fits your vehicle. Mechanic showed me the space between the drive shaft and the hole. Drive shaft was stock. Everything else I bought from this site that said that the item fits my vehicle, fit my vehicle.
