I use a lot of propane for my dual fuel generator so, I purchase propane bottle of all sizes 5-30 gallon and recycle them. Many companies give you a hard time about not having the propane warning labels on the bottles so I found some on Amazon and saved a bunch of money.

Great product which keeps DOT propane tanks legal as tanks are required to have a LEGIBLE safety label affixed - on many tanks these have faded or been lost when tank repainted.
