I ordered this product for my dog with kidney disease. While it suggests that there are no additives, fillers or by-products, it includes chickpea flour. This ingredient is high in phosphorous which means it is not good for dogs with kidney disease. The item in not returnable.

** I like that there is an expiry date stamped on the back, and the ingredients are clean.The pumpkin squares aren't as thick as in the listing photo. I attached a picture, as you can see they are thin.That's OK though, as they are still soft and my dog will eat one or two each sitting. They are clearly not her favorite but that's to be expected with pumpkin and pea.Overall it's a convenient way to give a lower protein snack.

This treat works great for us as it's easy to break in half cleanly, and easy for my small dog to chew, but not too soft or crumbly. - Also very few ingredients if allergies are a concern. Pet treats are always over priced, but these are good quality with clean ingredients, and breaking in half produces twice the treats! Good value.
