This stand is sturdy enough for a smaller person. I bought this for my sister and it is perfect for her. I tried for myself and it will hold my weight (190lbs) good enough but was much less rigid than my stand at home.Another issue is quality of parts:One bolt was too short which meant I could not use washers when securing it and still barely were able to.Another two bolts had deformed heads which made tightening them difficult.Sleeve that allowed the adjustment of height would not stay in place when adjusting.... annoyingAll in all, you get what you pay for.If you're a heavier person serious about improving pull-ups, go for sturdier built otherwise works well enough for smaller individuals.

Im 6ft 3 and i dont have any issues with doing dips or pull ups and its not even on the max hight setting. Its a bit wobbly when doing dips and hand grips are a bit too narrow and palms hurt at times. Its just a matter of getting used to it i suppose. However thicker handles for better palm support would have been much better. The instructions arent very clear on how to assemble but theres youtube vids on that.

Let me explain why its study and wobbly at the same time. When I started to built it, it was pretty difficult to set everything up because if you tighten some bolts it's going to misalign other parts of the frame so make you don't tighten the bolts too much first then tighten everything at the end. I also want to point out that the manual that came with it were understandable, so that's a plus. After everything is built, the 4 anchor points don't all touch the floors, so it's wobbly if you try to shake it. However, once you put your whole body weight doing pull ups or dips, it stabilizes because the 4 anchor points are made of rubber so they sinks to the ground and balances everything out and makes it sturdy.I use this product to workout at home and its been perfectly fine. I have been using it to do weighted dips and weighted pulls of 20lbs. I weight 140lbs, so it can handle 160lbs fine. The tower is very light too, so you can move it around your house.I bought this in November 2020 when gyms closed down, so its been almost 6months I have it. I haven't noticed anything bend in the metal so everything's good.Hope this is helpful.

It's easy to assemble, light and solid construction.Minor gripe is that it rocks a bit when doing dips sometimes, but as long as you put some kind of weight on the base it's just fine.Really good for the $200 it's worth.

Bought it for dips and pull-ups and it's sturdy enough. I'm currently 230 lbs and it is Shakey at time but nothing to be worried about. Instructions could be clearer but if you take some time to read and analyse the instructions you should be fine. Over all great piece of equipment for a home gym
