I'd give this 10 stars if I could. I saw people saying that they are hard to get charged, but that's the opposite of my experience. I put these out at Christmas, in Quebec where we get about 4 hours of daylight in December, in my front yard that can't even grow grass because it doesn't get enough sunlight. They have been faithfully switching on every night since, bright as all get out.

These lights look nice but mine got tangled when I decided to undo them first. Side note make sure you press the on/off button firmly. I kept clicking it and nothing was happening until I pushed it and held it for a few seconds. I might get more for the bushes in the front.

The lights are very bright which is nice but compared to the set of 4 I purchased last year they don't stay lit long. My 4 original strings are still going when I get up in the morning but the new strings only last 3-4 hrs before they get too dim to see.

These turned my porch and bushes into a mass of orange and purple colors.. Once the skeleton and other figures are out we are ready for the big night. These lights are sturdy, thin wire covered in black plastic coating. They are easy to use and look great. The price was also well received as they were on sale and were delivered on time. The light string can be programmed for lights that are on all the time or flash in different modes. I would buy these again and recommend these.

These lights are super cool but finicky. I have them wrapped around two trees in my front yard and sometimes when the sensor is out in the sun all day when night comes around they won’t come on. So I go outside and pick up the sensor part and press the on/ off/ mode button and they will illuminate. But for instance last night before bed I looked out the window and they weren’t lit. Sorta frustrating …

I wrapped these around the frame of our canopy and they have held up through the constant rain and heat. It adds such a great ambiance. Not the best picture but you can see how bright they are even when the sun wasn’t fully down. This is only 1 set, we still need to wrap the other one around it but you can see just one of them covers a good amount of space.

These lights work very well, and are pretty easy to install. I put them up in a greenhouse that we have in our backyard. Here is some important info!!- Test out the lights before you install them. They should come pre-charged, and make sure you completely block the solar panel and press the on/off button to test them. If they do not turn on, try hitting the mode button a few times. If they still do not turn on, leave the solar panel in the sun for a few hours, and try testing again. Remember the panel must be blocked to stimulate dark.- If they still do not turn on, I found a problem with mine that you can easily check! Take a Phillips screwdriver (looks like a star), and remove the four tiny screws on the back of the solar panel. Keep these screws somewhere safe. Pull on the cover to remove it, mindful of the rubber gaskets near where the wiring comes out. These help create a seal to keep moisture out of the panel.Once the panel is removed, remove the battery. Mine came with a green, generic looking 800mAh battery. Next, ensure the negative metal tab is making contact with the positive end of where the battery would go. Mine was not! I had to bend the tab closer to the middle, so that it would touch the battery. I used a small flat screwdriver to do this. Also check the negative end contact, which is coiled like a spring. Check all the little wiring inside of the panel as well- it should all be connected, however if something comes loose, it is relatively easy to fix.Put the battery back in place, if you have a multimeter, check for dc voltage on the connector terminals themselves, and you may also check the output of the solar charger (mine was putting out around 2 volts dc).Put everything back together and don’t forget to put the rubber gaskets near the edge where the wires leave the controller.Test again and everything should work 100%.- Once everything is tested/working, you’re ready to install! The easiest way to install them is to start with the end of the lights (coiled on the plastic reel). Pull that end off, and unravel from the plastic reel, keeping the solar panel bundled with the reel. (Otherwise, removing the entire light string before installation can cause a tangled mess!- Another tip is that I measured the lights drawing 52mA of current. The battery provided is stamped as 800mAh and should last roughly 16 hours, however I am highly skeptical about generic batteries matching their rated output. I purchased EBL 2800mAh batteries from Amazon and installed these instead. They should run all night long without any issues whatsoever.- One other tip is that the weakest part of these lights is probably the solar panel itself. These panels tend to physically discolour in the sunshine, and turn white/yellow. I haven’t had mine long enough for this to happen, however it happened with other fairy lights I purchased. Just something to be aware of.

These lights are really durable! I put them on my address sign and it ended up being too many lights so I'm redoing it, but I was sure I would make all the lights go off when I was removing the lights from my address sign. Since I knew I had a second set of string lights that I could use if I needed to, I wasn't being all that gentle when I was pulling the lights off. I had them hot glued every few inches. I removed some of the hot glue with my teeth. I had to pull and twist kind of hard to dislodge some of the sections. I kept turning the lights on to make sure they still worked while I was bending them and pulling them off, and they kept working. Except near the end of the strand when I accidentally did pull one of the wires loose from the rest of the string of lights, end of the last five or so lights did stop working then, but at least the rest of them still worked, so I'm probably going to put the damaged one outside somewhere in my backyard for a little extra lighting.

I purchased the 2 pack (49 ft each) of solar lights. They were delivered by Purolator and arrived on on time and in perfect condition (I've only used one set so far). They came with some charge in them, but I put them up in the morning so they could fully charge before it got dark. As soon is it got dark out, they came on and worked perfectly. They lasted for about 8 hours on the twinkle setting, so I'm pretty impressed! While writing this review, it keeps asking about the remote control. It does NOT come with a remote control, but I don't see why you'd need one because they come on automatically at dark. They aren't super bright, so don't buy them to really light up an area. They're more of an accent light, but they are beautiful!Overall, I would definitely recommend and plan to buy more as gifts for family/friends! If you're shopping around for solar fairy lights, these are the ones for you!
