I found these to be a bit sturdier than expected, but still not rigid enough to maintain alignment while trying to pick something up. The tips were bent after installing into the shafts, so they are not replacable. Since they were bent after cladding also, so the tips are cracked and the core is exposed at the bends. They will not last long like this. I bought these knowing that they were 24v, like my Weller rework station.. I thought I would remove the provided plug and install a Weller plug. I don't think I'll do that now.I might have given them 2 stars if some documentation was provided showing the pinouts and type of temperature probe. I could figure this stuff out, but my time is more valuable than these ever will be, even if I could use them. It might have also been good to know what station these were designed for.

Was told that this was an 8-pin plug but it's only 7 pin and won't fit my Aoyue 866.
