I found the quality of this baby play mat really underwhelming. The material is super lightweight, and not in a good way. It’s very cheaply made, it almost feels like styrofoam. Having had a similar version from a big retail store for my first child, I know that this sour lemon brand baby play mat will not stand the test of time.In addition to the cheap materials, I find it way overpriced! I would be disappointed if I paid $20 for this but right now for the size that I ordered it is priced at $49.99 CAD (March 2025). Even with the $10 coupon offered today, I would I would not recommend this man and I would definitely pass and find something of better quality.

Folds up and comes with a carrier bag. It's not huge, but gives a great portable surface for my boy to play on. I like the decorations, which have animals and letters on it.

We have a very large mat that we use at home, and wanted something smaller to take with us on the go.This is perfect. It’s spacious enough for babies to have lots of space to play without being a space hog. It folds nicely and is easy to take on the go. It’s a nice, thick, squishy and soft material.

One side has alphabet pictures, although some of them I've never heard of like "K is for Kudu" (animal of Africa), "N is for Naartjie" (a fruit of South Africa), "P is for Protea" (African plant), "Q is for Quagga" (Extinct Zebra of Africa), or V is for Vellies (South African shoe). I guess this size of playmat is too small to have the whole alphabet so it only contains some of them. From the listing it looks like the larger sizes contain more of the alphabet, but the same pictures. The other side of the mat is grey with white triangles.I measured the foam playmat to be about 45.5" x 47", not quite the 47" x 47" advertised. The playmat can also be used folded in half, but not on the grey side.Opinion: This is a smaller size than other ones I've used but it's perfect for smaller spaces. The playmat is easy to clean and allows the baby a clean & padded space to play on the floor. The playmat is easy to clean and easy to store.

The mat is thick and well-cushioned, providing a soft surface that protects against bumps and falls. It’s also made from non-toxic, baby-safe materials, giving me peace of mind about my child’s safety. I just wanted it to be larger or have a really extra large size available. It is decent but doesn't cover much of the floor section as desired. Spills and messes are inevitable, but the waterproof surface makes cleaning a breeze. A quick wipe with a damp cloth is all it takes to keep the mat looking fresh. The only minor downside is that the mat can be s bit slippery on hardwood floors if not anchored properly, so I recommend placing it on a rug or using a non-slip pad underneath. Aside from that, it's perfect, and the feature I enjoy the most is the practical portable option, or it is easier to store when not needed. I’m hoping to pull this out in the meeting space at the place I volunteer, for the children to play on. It is a smaller size so it would work for a small play area, living room, or bedroom. It also would be great for an apartment!It’s not overly thick, but offers a wipeable surface and a little bit of protection from falls.It is reversible, with a solid grey with white triangles on the back. It does not have a full alphabet on the one side, but it’s still cute! It has slightly obscure animals and items - like Vellies shoes, Impala, Springbok, and Naartjie. Sporting gender neutral colours, and a carrying case, it would make a wonderful gift.
