Not sure why the correct size was so damn hard to find, but this fit my 22r 1981 celica's air cleaner just fine. I don't need to replace the "pole" but it looks like it will fit if I ever decide to do so.

I'm very impressed with the idea of this product. It fits all sorts of applications with all the different lengths of thread. I had no idea how long my threads needed to be but with this kit I was able to pick the right length with plenty of spare parts for later.
