As a general contractor, I own virtually at least one of everything Stabila makes. The quality and durability of their product are beyond reproach. I will say the supplier of this product should never be allowed to sell another product on Amazon. The level was coated with a thick coat of dust. Deeply scratched all the way through the paint and into the aluminum underneath and dinged in several locations. It was also packaged in as poorly a manner as I’ve ever seen. My guess is it had been a floor model for a very very long time and the supplier was more than happy to ship it to Colorado and get full price for it. This is the second tool that I have purchased from amazon that was damaged. The previous purchase, a Bosch sander was clearly a return- manuals attachments had been removed from the packaging and the repackaging clearly betrayed that it was a return. Despite a detailed complaint- I received no acknowledgement from Amazon. Stabila and Bosch are great manufactures. Amazon is really slipping on their quality control. Buyer beware.

Great case. Fit the bill perfect for my new 7' to 12' stabilia plate level. I've seen reviews saying it's to small. Not the case. Make sure you order the right case for your level.

The case is well made. Mine fits the 7-12' plate level and zips closed without a problem. The previous reviewer may have a defective case or perhaps may not have the plate level completely collapsed.The case does not come with a shoulder strap, which would be a nice addition. It would also be nice if the case would accomodate one or two longer levels (like the 78 inch jamber), rather than the shorter 48" and 24".
