Decent fob but I had to get a key cut. My old key would not fit into place, different assembly. Still a lot cheaper than the dealer. Would recommend this...

Not what it seems, Once I started the replacement I was committed as I had to break apart the original remote as it seems to be glued together. THIS IS NOT A DIRECT REPLACEMENT, I thought I could just replace the blank key assembly on the new remote housing with the one on my original OEM remote but that did not work. Both keys and pieces are slotted and aligned different. IT WON'T WORK, you would have to get the blank cut to fit your vehicle and that means $$$$. I noticed that the keyed shaft was pinned in so I took a finishing nail and tapped out the pin thus removing the keyed portion, do the same on the blank key making sure you mark each section with a marker so you know how it goes back in. When you re assemble use the pin from the new blank key as it is slightly smaller, now carefully tap it in with a small hammer, a vise would help to easily press it back into place as I did. See pictures from start to finish showing old keyed shaft attached to new mechanism. It works great now.

Excellent product..Took it to GM Dealer who converted the blank key to fit the Equinox..then took it to the Equinox & made it compatable with the car. Worked properly & only took 1 minute...Cost was $52 for the serviceFob no longer works...Will not buy again or trust it

Even though they look exactly identical to the case for my Buick keys, the flip key button doesn't work due to a slight difference in the shape. As a result, even though the lock/unlock buttons are fine (which is what cracked on my original case) it makes it too impractical to use and I wish I had just gone to my dealership instead.

Very good price for 3 FOB key cases and very identical to the original. And fast delivery too - about 1 week.

Got what we needed but you do have to take it somewhere for it to be programmed to work with your car. We got lucky and found a place that didn’t charge much.
