Nice and durable fix for broken key fob

It was very difficult to get together. This is the 2nd time I've had to replace the plastic casing on my Honda key fob. The last time I ordered from a different seller and both times it was extremely difficult to get together. After some frustration and swear words I ended up using the back plastic piece off my old fob onto the new front piece of this fob.This replacement fob does not come with a Honda logo sticker, the previous one I had came with a Honda sticker. I would have tried harder to use the entire new fob if it came with a Honda sticker.

I bought this cover to replace the OEM one i had on my key fob that finally cracked in half.Got the item, installed it and damn was it a hard time to put together. I watched the video to ensure I wasn't doing anything wrong and sure enough I wasn't it just was hard to put together. It has not been 9 days since I have been using this cover, and it has cracked right at the key on both sides of the cover. I mean it's not rocket science to put this key fob cover together but it's cheap you get what you pay for, I wouldn't buy it but to each their own.

Item is fine. But Honda’s design is crap. These fobs break often. I finally found an aftermarket manufacturer that makes an improved version, albeit slightly larger.

Solid, Rugged red key chain case. Matches my (Kinda jank. But works. ) Billet Shifter and Steering wheel cover. 10/10. Only critique would be a darker red.

I would have like to see more information on the OEM key fob, there was a component in the OEM fob that was not explained (I don't know if it was a RFID chip or if the RFID chip is embedded in the key blade itself). The component in the OEM key fob was not duplicated in the replacement fob assembly.

It is a much better design than the Honda Original Manufacturer's design. It worked perfectly for my 2012 Honda Coup Car Keys. It was easy to install and very durable compared to the original manufacturer's product.
