We have older model of Stanley shop-vac and this product fits it perfectly. So glad we were able to find the proper bag for our shop-vac.

Bought this Stanley 4-5 gallon vacuum cleaner ( with 1-1/4" inlet ) but found out later when its time to replace the filter bag that most if not all replacement bags from stores came with 1-1/2" inlet hole. So I was very happy to find these replacement bags which fit perfectly . Otherwise, without properly fitted replacement filter bags, the vacuum will be good only for wet applications.

Amazon recommends these in its “Frequently Bought With” section for the Stanley SL18116 vacuum cleaner, but the bags are the wrong opening. You can MacGyver a solution but they should not be recommended as the go-with product.

The hole in the bag isn’t the same size as the vacuum hose, the diameter of the bag opening wasn’t listed in the product details. I emailed the customer service contact for Stanley products and they gave me a link to a bag exactly like the one I bought off Amazon, which is annoying because it’s not a proper fit for my vacuum.

It was hard to find bags that would fit my Stanley 4 gallon vacuum and for a reasonable price! Fits well and does what it needs to do. Bag is delicate but as long as you're careful you wont tear it. Would buy again for correct size and reasonable price.
