I’m giving it a 3 star mainly because it really doesn’t give you much setback at all. The tube seemed strong but really the amount of setback is so minimal it’s not worth the trouble. I’d find a different solution. I returned the item and got a seat that gave me more setback.

Not a significant movement backward, but I was concerned about some comments on the other seat "layback" posts being weak and failing. I consider this seat post to be as strong as the original and I could feel a difference in the setback with relation to the pedals which previously almost straight below me. Next time I have some "mad money" I'll test out larger frame bikes.

I'm 6'1/ 185 and this was an instant improvement on my bike. Added average speed on first ride by 1-2 mph with extra leg room, more comfort for longer rides. Test ride 22.5 miles, 26" MTB Huffy frame. Thanks for this, seriously.
