Excellent kit to blow out water hoses and/or sprinkler systems

First of all: I like it and great value.I was a little hesitant to order based on the product pictures, so I'll describe/confirm that it will fit *either* male or female garden hose threads on the "water" side. On the "air" side, it comes with a standard male thread, used on air fittings. It then comes with an inline ball valve (to turn the air on/off) and then male threads to whatever type of air fitting you want to use. It comes with a standard ("M" type) air fitting, which if you have never given any thought to the idea that there are different styles of fittings, that's almost surely what you've got. But with the standard threads, it was easy for me to put on a "V" type fitting that I use as standard in my shop.I was previously winterizing with an assembly of 5 different adapter parts screwed together from Home Depot plumbing aisle. That works, but was clunky. This hose was cheaper than that assembly and comes with a valve to quickly turn the air on/off (which is helpful to let a smaller air compressor refill its tank while purging your sprinkler lines).It also comes with a generous (full) roll of Teflon tape to seal up the threaded fittings.

I used the product to blow any remaining water left in the water lines of my travel trailer to help winterized it. The adaptor hose is absolutely easy to use and helps give piece of mind that I’m not going to have any issues next season when it’s time to camp.
