I admit to putting off these review. I also put off trying it on. I don’t want to be plus size person. But I am now a very curvy matron who needed a suit that fit properly. Imagine my shock when I tried on a perfectly fitted suit from Amazon! My bosom was supported, with enough padding to keep it PG, and I actually have cleavage! The skirt is flattering, though I personally don’t care for the tie detail and the fact you can see a bit of thigh when walking. But it is incredibly well made, the only thing not stitched is the bottom of the wrap, and it appears to be fused. A very pretty (I love paisley!) green blue pattern , quality suit! I love it. Not my body, but right now this swim suit is the only thing that correctly fits this matron!

My fiance' loves this. While we haven't gotten to swim too much yet (the pool is a bit chilly still), we've hopped in a couple times and this is the suit she's chosen to wear each time. It looks great, fits well, and seems to be very well made, which includes support. One issue she's had with other swimsuits is the chest area not having enough support; this suit seems to not have that issue. Overall, I'd say (and she'd agree) that this is a good find!

I really love the pattern on this suit. The colors are nice and bright while the design is very crisp with no weird smudging or anything. The material is not super thin either and seems to be good quality. To be honest, I wasn't really sure what to expect as far as sizing since I can sometimes be between sizes and you never know whether it will be true to size either. I decided to go up a size just in case the sizing runs small. While it fits well overall, the only place it is a little bit problematic for me is in the chest. This is honestly the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. This is meant to be a plus size swimsuit, but there is zero support or underwire in the bust like I have in other swimsuits I've bought before. It does have a couple of very thin pads in the cups that are not tacked in place, so you may have to slide them around to get them in place. I understand that I went up a little bit in the size, but I am a DD cup and there is still more room in the chest than I am comfortable with, even with the adjustable straps tightened all the way. (Trust me, having too much room in the chest is never an issue I face with clothing.) Thankfully, this should be an easy fix with a couple of well-placed darts and closing up the cleavage a couple inches. I still don't think I'll have as much support as I prefer (i.e. underwire), but it's still a really nice suit that looks really cute. It has some rouching under the bust and a nice flowy skirt with a little tie that all make for an overall very flattering and modest swimsuit with a really cute design. I would say this is pretty true to size, so go ahead and order your normal size with no worries.

The skirt is a little longer than I would like, but it is a very pretty suit and I like the way it hides the stomach. The color is much prettier than in the picture

First things first, this bathing suit is GORGEOUS... but before I get into that, a word of warning about sizing.I normally wear 18 plus, so I ordered 18 plus without consulting the measurement chart, and this doesn't fit at all. It's much too small in every way. I'm going to hold on to it as I want to lose weight and it really is a very nice bathing suit. I'll wear it as a reward on a sunny beach somewhere, lol.Pros:* Material is thick and doesn't feel cheap.* Super cute pattern - little oranges and leaves with a deep navy background. Colours and printing are crisp.* The suit feels ~ substantial~ which is appreciated being a big girl. All the seams and stitching are tight.* I like the fact you can optionally tie up the skirt.* There's elastic around the leg holes.* The actual cut/style is really flattering, and I love the detail on the straps - they split in 2 and go through a metal loop.Cons:* The sizing using the # isn't totally accurate to how other 18 plus stuff fits. Check your measurements.* The dress portion is long so it will be heavy in the water (but that's to be expected, so barely a con).* The cup size isn't as big I personally need.

This review is for the Summer Mae Plus Size Swimsuit .I squeed irl when this arrived, it’s flipping gorgeous, and as a plus size woman, it must be the most flattering swimsuit I’ve ever seen.The colouring matched the screen, and it’s just an adorable print, I adore the little oranges!There are so many flattering little details, aka the double spaghetti strap helps makes it supportive yet still stylish and feminine over the typical broad strap, the rouching at the tummy and band around the back are nicely done, and the high (ish) straight across the back cut helps hide some of the back pudge.Good to know: I feel that this is great quality fabric, and a lot of attention to detail has gone into construction. The stitching is even, no stray threads. This is a high quality garment. As for the tie, there is a ‘hole’ in the skirt, and a piece of fabric is well sewn into place, one on each side. You could leave it untied if you prefer, and have a full skirt, though one side of the tie would be free to dangle, or get a cute little gold clip and sew it toward the back for a cute accent. You could possibly cut it if you really wanted. I don’t remember if it ‘d work to pass it back to the underside if you really wanted to. That being said, up in the tie is also cute if you’re comfortable with that.Altogether, I’m really happy with this suit, and highly recommended it. I’m delighted with the quality of fabric, constructions, and design. I got the 20, and it fits me well.

This is a great multifunctional wardrobe item that works great as a cute bathing suit that’s as sassy as it is classy that doubles as that “little. BLack dress” that everyone who loves dresses needs in their closet my wife thought it was so cute little does she know i got it for her as a surprise the size looks to be true to the tag but I don’t know the best about woman’s sizes so time will tell but it looks to be right and the material is very nice and thick in the way that screams quality the seems are very nicely stitched and without her actually putting it on and trying it they can only say so much but it’s the type of thing that looking at it and it’s cut and shape and the length and such I can see her wearing it without without even attempting to imagine it. It’s by all appearances, a very flattering style to me, it would be the perfect little black dress. In fact that at moonlight by day is a bathing suit makes it even better now doesn’t it it seems like it will do the thing I mean what does a bathing suit really do except for keep you covered up and look good so as long as it fits and it appears to be the right size as far as looking at it, but time will tell in the coming weeks once it gets given if it doesn’t fit or if there’s any big revelations, I will most certainly update the review really it’s more of a first impressions unboxing type man’s opinion but nonetheless, I just wish I had the legs to pull off looking good wearing it lol all jokes aside for the price I’m impressed with the quality now long term remains to be seen weather or not it’ll hold up or not I’m not sure but there’s nothing about that leads me to believe that it would have any kind of long term issues

Before purchase: Measure all three, bust , belly and hips, it is short in the torso , so measure and choose according to the widest measurement.84% Nylon 16% Spandex. LINING: 92% Polyester,8% Spandex.Best feature: the cut out around the legs has elastic which keeps the swimsuit in place on the thighs and not riding up my back. The bottom part can be used as a skirt or a tie on skirt showing off one leg and hiding the other. More stylish.The skirt is long enough in the back to cover a bigger bottom.As a big girl I'm not shy. Want to show of Just the right Places. This helps with accentuating my top half, while covering my bottom half.It's a pull on sorts, so I can quickly get into it even if I'm not in a closed bathroom or shower and I'm changing clothes in a public swimming pool. Covers me well especially hides the flabby in my legs. It's a bit on the thicker side so it will take longer to dry. On the plus side it holds some loose skin and is fluttering on my rounded tummy.Personal tip for sizing :I rather have a little looser than a little tighter, because it will not stick to the body as the material is synthetic.Keeping it in shape when washing is achievable by hand wash best cold water or cool lukewarm at the max. If washing machine is used a laundry bag and delicate but avoid this as it will stretch no matter what in washing machine flat dry vs hanging on a line will also keep its shape.FYI: No solid padding on the bust as a plus size item this is unusual.
