This thing is absolutely a life safer. I’ve recently been over watering my plants a lot and have been having to treat root rot more often than normal. With this thing i just stick it right in the soil if i think it looks dry and it will just tell me if i need to water it.

This is such an amazing product. I'm so terrible at watering plants, I've killed so many by either under or over watering them. This product is amazing because I can see when they actually need water. One thing to note is that it doesn't work if you leave it in the pot, it will after some time read dry even if the soil is still moist. However by just removing it and placing it back into a different spot in the soil it will immediately read the correct moisture again. Recommended for any plant parents that aren't very good at their job lol

Sehr gut und günstig. Funktioniert perfekt. Einfach mal die Anleitung lesen (oder einen Physiker fragen), dann weiß man auch, dass es in Wasser gesteckt nicht funktioniert und das Teil beschädigen kann. Und dass man etwas drehen soll, damit der Stab guten Kontakt zur Erde bekommt und messen kann. Ich bin jedenfalls sehr zufrieden.

I planted trees in July!!! Yikes - I don’t want to over water but need to know what is happening around that root ball. This one seems to gauge on the wet side as I tested against a couple of others and they all show higher moisture in the soil than this one does so I erring on the side of caution as it is easy to over water and deplete oxygen supply resulting in dead transplants! Also the probe is quite flimsy and bends easily so be careful with it.

il n’y a rien à comprendre ..on introduit la sonde de l’appareil dans le terre au plus près des racines ,l’aiguille commence aussitôt à osciller très rapidement elle s’immobilise au niveau du cadran désignant l’état d’humidité de la terre et vous aide à décider si il faut arroser ou non sachant que trop d’humidité entraîne un pourrissement des racines …..très utile car une terre d’aspect sec en surface se trouve être suffisamment humide en profondeur ….je conseille à qui comme moi n’a pas la main verte mais aime bien être entouré de verdure .

J’ai acheté ce capteur d’humidité pour ma monstera pour laquelle je n’arrive pas à gérer l’arrosage. Avec ce capteur d’humidité au plus près des racines, je sais tout de suite si elle a besoin d’eau ou pas !Mon achat est récent donc je ne sais pas ce que ça donnera dans le temps
