You can wear these either way where the band in the back it higher up on your head or lower down on your neck whichever seems to fit you better. Looks the same either way. Not a bad quality but not the best so I would say “Medium” quality. They seemed very loose for my average head size but for my husband whose has a larger size head they fit fine. So if your head is smaller or hats normally are large on you then this will be also. But otherwise they would do the job. If I was in a super cold or windy environment I would want a thicker ear protection but that is my preference. So I would recommend this item and this brand.

These are very flat, which is what I wanted but i was surprised at just how flat they are. These fit my average size head easily and stay on with no problems. They’re warm, soft and the colour is true to the listing and they look nice. For the price I think they’re good value and I’d order these again.

I adore these earmuffs. First off, the covering for the ears/area is very large, which is wonderful when it's cold/windy. Secondly, it fits perfectly behind the head (not over it), so it works for just about any hairstyle. Third, it fits snugly, but not tight, so no predisposition to a headache from it gripping too tightly. Great for gifting, too!

I do not have a tiny head. Most non adjustable ladies hats are too small for my head.I have the opposite problem with these earmuffs.They slide down as soon as I put them on.The slightest movement and they are around my neck instead of my head.I am disappointed because they are nice looking, nicely made and warm.Too bad they don’t have an adjustable band.
