Your cart is empty.Highly detailed 1/35 scale model kit of the SdKfz 173, a World War II German tank destroyer commonly known as the Jagdpanther ("Fighting Panther"). Based on the chassis of the Panther tank, the Jagdpanther featured a low-profile body and the same deadly long-barreled 88 mm gun as the Tiger tank. This model kit depicts the late production model Jagdpanther, which had a bolted-on steel band around the main gun mantlet and fitted with a Pak 43/4 88 mm main gun. This kit comes with 1 tank commander figure and lots of accessories.

各パーツ共に概ねカッチリしていて、スマートなヤークトパンターをうまく再現したキットです。最新のキットと違い、パーツ数はそれほど多い訳ではないのですが、パンターＧ型後期用のランナーを流用している為、不要パーツがどっちゃり出ます。製作で注意する部分はあまり無いですが、牽引ワイヤーは車体に整合させようとローソクの火であぶろうもんなら、あっという間にトロンと溶けます。ここは熱湯に浸す程度がいいかも。その場合、火傷には注意しましょう。作例ではワイヤー部分を別のヒモに置き換えました。それとフィギュアの右腕も車体に整合しにくいかも。ただ、このフィギュアはなかなか出来がいいです。作例は足回り工作の際、スイングアームに金属線を差して、可動する様に加工しました。キャタピラーは付属のベルト式ですが、かなりディーティールが良い物です。車体の塗装は全て筆塗りです。フィールドグレイをベースにフラットアースとバフで迷彩しました。

I decided to buy this model as my first one ever, and i knew i would love it. The model itself is easy to build, even for a newbie like me. Lots of super small pieces tho.As for the shipping, my order arrived 2 whole week after the estimated date. But its was probably due to my country post. The customer service of hobby japan is really good.Will buy again!

A really good quality kit, like you would expect from Tamiya. Instructions are good and the kit goes together flawlessly. Mouldings are excellent with a fair level of detail. There is also some interior detail, but only to a limited level. This kit comes with rubber 'band' style tracks which are well detailed and the right length: I had no issues fitting them.You get the option of early or late versions with this kit, depending on the choice of exhaust pipes and the inclusion of the crew heater on the back deck. The kit appears accurate, although the 'shurtzen' plates come as a single piece on each side, giving a too uniform appearance. This is easily solved by cutting them down into five separate plates and gluing them on separately.An excellent kit, especially for the price paid. Overall, highly recommended.
