Great for when you are either a beginner or need something quick.Don't know why every guitar kit needs to come with cheap plectrums (lol) like the people buying this kit don't have a million of them already. But I digress. It a decent kit, wish it had come with a fret leveling tool b at least the files are nice enough. Spanner is great and the flathead screw driver is sharp as hell.

It's a cheaper kit that works just fine.Toss it in your gig bag for repairs on the spot.I have no problem recommending this for amateur use..

I recently purchased the TIMESETL Guitar Repair Tool Kit, and it has been an exceptional addition to my music gear. As someone who loves to tinker with and maintain my guitars, having a reliable and comprehensive tool kit is essential, and the TIMESETL kit has everything I need and more.Firstly, the variety of tools included in this kit is impressive. It comes with wire pliers, string cutters, a string winder, fret files, and several other essential tools for guitar maintenance and repair. Each tool is thoughtfully designed and high-quality, ensuring they perform their tasks effectively without causing any damage to my instruments. The wire pliers and string cutters are particularly noteworthy. They are sharp, precise, and make changing strings a breeze. The string winder is a simple yet indispensable tool that significantly speeds up the string-changing process. The fret files and other maintenance tools are excellent for keeping my guitar in top shape, allowing me to easily perform adjustments and minor repairs at home.Another aspect I appreciate is the durability and sturdiness of the tools. They feel solid and well-made, which gives me confidence that they will last a long time even with frequent use. The compact and organized carrying case is also a great feature, keeping everything neatly in place and easily accessible.Using the TIMESETL Guitar Repair Tool Kit has not only saved me trips to the guitar shop but also given me a deeper understanding of my instrument and how to care for it. It's an excellent investment for any guitarist, whether you're a beginner looking to learn more about guitar maintenance or an experienced player wanting a reliable set of tools.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the TIMESETL Guitar Repair Tool Kit. It offers great value for the price and has become an indispensable part of my guitar maintenance routine. I highly recommend it to any guitar enthusiast looking for a comprehensive, high-quality tool kit.

It all functions as it should and for what you get the value is good. The quality of the tools are not the best but for small jobs it will work. Not an expensive luthiers kit so don't expect top notch tools. You get what you pay for here

This set has many items included for all of the guitar maintenance tasks that I will do. Will fit my needs and the items look capable of doing the job. Appear to be of acceptable quality - but I'm no luthier.

To counter another reviewer who didn't like the files and said to never use them on a guitar, there is nothing wrong with these files. Sure, they may be a bit coarse for his liking, but a tool is a tool, and a lot depends on operator skill and experience - believe it or not, some people will actually take a router or drill to their guitar and end up improving it!If you want high-end files for intricate work, you're probably not gonna find them in a kit that works out to less than $1 per piece. There's some useful stuff here...including the three awesome files! Seriously, they're slightly better quality than their Princess Auto cousins, which have been working just fine for me for years.I didn't buy this for the files. I was actually looking for some fretboard protectors and then sprung for this kit because it had a few other really useful tools. The metal ruler is great, clippers and winder are fine. The truss rod keys look decent and cover the typical sizes you'll see. I could do without the acoustic pegs and the picks...but without them they could only sell this as a 16-piece set (and no one wants to buy a 16-piece kit!).Tip: If you use these files on your guitar and you're "tearing chunks off", you're doing it wrong.
