I live the solar panels for my game cameras, but I’ve had a wave of failures (6 of 8) at about the 20 months mark. One other brand I bought failed at 6 months, but another is still going strong at 24 months. I expect long life out of these. 18 -20 mo is too short.

WOW - I don't have to buy batteries anymore. Thanks for an easy to use and complete package. All I had to do was charge the battery and pick the correct power cord.

So far, Love this unit. I cannot review longevity at this time - how it works over time, but out of box is exactly what i need. Small features I didn't even expect like: Normal USB cable charging (for backup) Multiple Outputs: 6v, 9v, 12v. Comes with many various cables needed for whatever hook up you need. Even bare wire. LED level meter.Feels well built and has plugs to keep water out. Seems to charge fast in god sunlight. I am using this to make a small BYO outdoor solar light system. Using around 12 LED bulbs this unit keeps fully charged always under normal sunlight. For the price, this is great!

Takes a while to charge up, but well worth the effort

This solar panel does not hold a charge. I have two of the same model, one has been working fine. This second one I purchased does not hold a charge 1 week even if nothing is plugged into it to use the power. I've had it be drained in the field with multiple cameras, thinking it was just a bad location I kept trying. This last time I kept it home, charged it with the supplied USB cable and all 4 LED's lit up to say it was fully charged. I then kept it on my desk with nothing plugged into it for 1 week and now none of the LED's lit up. When I connect my multimeter to it, it detects .3 volts. The batteries apparently have never been good in the unit. Very disappointed.Update: I've gone through 2 of these. I've pieced together parts from both to make them work along with purchasing a new battery to replace the original. It worked for about one season. I cannot emphasis enough that these do not protect against water. I'm not talking about submersion, I mean normal rain, mist, damp air. Sure it has a gasket around the two halves but I don't think it has a gasket or seal where the solar panel and plastic meet. On both units I've had the insides collect water (even when it's positioned at an angle where you'd think any moisture would drain out if it gets in). The water collects and shorts out the circuit board causing all kinds of rust/corrosion. This is beyond frustrating for a commercial outdoor product. It probably could have been solved by encasing the circuit board in at least hot glue! The bright side of all this I have now gone onto build my own Solar panel + battery box for both SLA and LiFePO4 setups to power my cameras. Not a single build of mine has had water collect. And the build including batteries have been cheaper than my original purchases of these commercial panel/battery combos.Steer clear of this product, you're better off saving money and just swapping batteries in your cameras.
