i have 2 dogs, 1 being a giant Alaskan malamute so i was worried about the weight but it works great for both the dogs, combined weight 200 lbs., and the fit was really good as well.

This is such a life saver! We travel a lot in the husbands truck and often take our husky with us hiking and camping and more! She often struggles to stay on the seats anymore as she is older and larger in size so she wants to lay down with ease and room, which I do not blame her! This extender supports up tp 400lbs! It is support stabile and supportive as well! I will say make SURE you pay attention to how to insert the base plate and making sure it is in the correct direction. A few stand out things about this extender is it is waterproof! So if your dog happens to have a accident, no big deal at all! Another feature is that this is scratch resistant as well! So no need to worry about your dogs nails too much! I also love how this is a non-slip surface making it easy for my dog to get and hold a grip on this! There is a nice little mesh pocket as well to allow your dog to look at you while back there so it does not completely block their view of you. There are 2 storage pockets as well for holding toys, treats, portable water bowls and so much more! I also love the fact this has a spot that you can seat beat your dog in if they are wearing a harness as well! HUGE bonus in my opinion!

Just what we needed for camping trips or longer travels! This functions just as described, extending the backseat to allow kids to lie down and sleep, perfect for diaper changes and even for pets to relax on!The fabric is sturdy, looks waterproof, easy to spot clean and durable.I would have prefered a bit more padding, but so far nobody else complained. Would have also liked if it had a split option, to be used on part of the bench, when someone else needs to be seated in the back. Other than that, great product!

It took me just a few minutes to secure it in place, and it fits perfectly in my sedan. The straps are adjustable, and the cover stays put, thanks to the non-slip backing and sturdy anchors. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into designing this product.One of the best features is the hammock design. It not only protects the backseat but also creates a cozy, secure space for my dog. He used to get anxious in the car, but now he settles down quickly and enjoys the ride. We have a Chevy Spark, which is a compact car - just for reference. We installed this in our car, and overall it is a wonderful yet cheap option for helping our newest puppy get used to the backseat (without falling behind our seats or making a mess).It seems size adjustable enough with the straps to be good in a standard car as well, because we had to tighten most of the straps fully to make it stay put in our company car. Both ends unzip for easy in-and-out options for your pet on either side.Cons: The straps aren't really locked in place when you tighten them, so we had to tie a loose knot to get them to stay tightened for our car. There are also straps for the sides by the doors that hook to your grab handle, but I find them very inconvenient when trying to open the car for exit - you might decide if they're necessary to stabilize the unit in your car, but we're likely going to remove them and let the sides be a little floppy. I imagine the strap would be useful if you're using the side panels to prevent your dog from immediately exiting the car, but that's nothing something we needed.Considering the average cost of these things, I'm impressed! Air it out before putting it in your car - it's got that cheap plastic-y smell, but it dissipated in about 24 hours after we unfolded the whole thing.

This item works well and glad I bought it. One thing I would change about it is the zippers at the ends. They are inside the corners and zip downwards in the corners. I realize this is by design, to keep corners closed but I’d turn them right side up and have them on the outside, or at least have the zipper tab on the outside. That way you could unzip the end flap and have it cover the seat edge while loading and unloading easily. Especially if you’re vertically challenged.Anyways, works well and very happy with it so far.

Keep your doggy safe and happy while you travel! My doggy loves this! He can get close to us without falling to the floorboards. It keeps him safer and protects our truck seats. And it can withstand a big dog for the price that you pay. It was super easy to put in. My doggy fits comfortably and lays down. You will love as much as your doggy 🐕 ❤️

I have a similar car seat protector but the other one is small and this one is big. So, we tend to use this when we have multiple dogs in the backseat and use the smaller one when there is only one dog. Love the fact that all four sides are covered and that ensures the dogs can't come out and cause any damage to the seats. The material quality is good. The material is also waterproof, so seats are protected if the dogs pee or spill their drink. The metal buckle design makes it super easy to attach and detach. Very useful to have around if you are a pet owner.
