I only use this type of tomato cage now and have another set of essentially the same build type. I switched to gardening in standing height raised beds, but because they aren't very deep the cone shaped tomato cages end up falling over mid-summer when my tomato plants are heavy. These cages work perfectly and are very sturdy, great for anything that needs a cage like tomatoes, pepper, eggplants, etc. You build the cage to the height you need using the included pieces. I noticed the ends of the pieces are a little ragged where they are cut, but the plastic bits don't really get in the way of pushing into the connector pieces. They are very sturdy, and you can continue to build them higher as your plants grow.At the end of the season you can either break them down into pieces for storage, or leave them built and store them that way.

Put together well. Plastic coating didn’t rust. But, the plastic connectors are prone to breaking and then you’re left with something quite useless. Maybe if you’re not around them with kids or equipment you’d be ok.
