am constantly reminded how little recognition Rory Gallagher really got while he was alive. How he played his heart out and really got not nearly what was duly his. I am not one for Live Recordings but in his case I make an exception for it is only by listening to him live that Rory Gallagher comes out. I saw him here in the Early 70's. I was awe struck at what the man could do with the ease. There is one thing that I point out every time I run across it and that is the packaging. Again I have come across the Short sighted cost cutting measures of the record companies which market a great product in a PAPER JACKET. This is a true pet peeve of mine. It isn't a matter of being green because the entire inside is still plastic, NO they are simply cutting Cost by printing the jacket on paper instead of putting a true sleeve inside a plastic jacket as was the practise up until a few years ago. Now with these paper jackets the ink used to make up the artwork of the cover will simply wear away as other discs rub up against these cheaply made CD's. Musically however RG holds his own with the very greats Blues Men......Spigomars

Gallagher's best album in my opinion. When it came out I was in high school and growing very disillusioned with the mid-to-late 70's music scene. The music I loved seemed all but dead. As one of his earlier records was titled, Gallagher went against the grain with "Photo-Finish" and then this record. He was one of the few die-hards still putting out true guitar-rock. Unlike most other artists at that time, he was getting closer to what I wanted to hear rather then further away from it.
