This is strong and my husband has used it beyond it's weight capacity with good luck. He is always moving boats and trailers around in the yard, and this has worked out perfectly for him.

This review is on the 800# capacity trailer dolly. I am moving a 3000lb camper with 360lb on the tongue. (What you see in the picture) Anything smaller than what I am moving will fly across the driveway. So my wife wanted a camper. AFTER we bought it. I started trying to figure out how I was going to park it in my driveway. Backing up my camper living on a busy street seemed like a hassle tbh. So I thought about trailer dollys. MY camper weighs about 3000 LBS with a 360# tongue weight. I added an electric tongue jack so add 20 lbs to that number. My problem is that if I pull straight in there is NO way to turn the camper. Enter a trailer dolly. This thing works great. Im 50 years old and feeling it. This three wheel dolly does the trick. It sits right on the three wheels and allows me to spin my camper around. If I had the two wheel version I would not be able to hold it under the hitch. My driveway is pretty level but the cement job is pretty bad. This does the trick. Ive used it twice in the past 12 hours and I love it.Adjustability.. You want this.. the ability to move that hitch up and down is great. Ive tried 2 different heights and found one that is closer to level which makes the camper easier to manipulate.Stuff I saw from other reviews. (Which I dont see on mine)The wheels do not deform at all. I am putting about 400 lbs on it. The wheels dont deform and move perfectly. The unit is sturdy. This is welded in the same way my reciever hitch is. I think this is great.price is 200 right now. I think that is a good price point. I would have looked elsewhere for a three wheel dolly at a higher place. (Same dolly is 250 in local stores)

The one on the right is the 600lb folly from princess auto. Although the price was significantly lower, the axel buckled, and the tires flattened. I'm moving a 5x10 utility trailer with a 3500lb rating. I have a small tractor on the trailer that weighs about 1200lbs; the wife & I can lift the tongue together, but I can't lift it myself. I'm guesstimating the weight at about 500-600 lbs. The frame of this dolly has no trouble handling the weight, however, the tires do flatten quite a bit and I wouldn't want to try anything heavier. I push the trailer into my garage and there is about a 5/8 lip from the garage floor to the driveway. The first time I hit that lip, the dolly stopped rolling, but the handles kept moving. It flipped over towards the trailer. I've discovered that you have to hit the lip one tire at a time, but then getting the front tire up is a different story. I haven't figured out a way yet to get it over the lip by myself. The one major complaint I have with it is the handle grips slide off when using it; I almost fell the first time it happened. How hard can it be for the company to glue them on, I don't have that problem with the princess auto one. It was really easy to put together and it is a lot more solid than the cheaper versions. I would recommend this, but if you're using it by yourself, be careful. I will be gluing the handles on and I'll figure out a way to get up the lip by myself safely.

This dolly makes moving/parking a trailer very easy without requiring a lot of strength. Works on uneven ground/grass.

I purchased and used for 2 1/2 summers. The never go flat tires are defective, over time the polyurethane foam injected breaks down to a fine powder creating flat spots on the tires rendering the dolly unusable. Amazon has no contact info for manufacturer and contrary to one post, Can Tire and Princess auto supply only tires with a bore max 3/4 inch. Mine is 1 inch. No replacement parts available . Buyer Beware, mines going to the dump.

It works pretty good. Saves my back for sure when i'm moving my 12x6.5 atv trailer. It gets just a little tough if you have to push the trailer up an incline but I already figured that. It seems pretty well made. The ball is 1 7/8 and you can use it on a 2" coupler. I did and it works fine. Assembly is fairly easy. I used a 17mm socket and ratchet and a 17mm wrench. One point I need to make is that the directions call for 2 large washers that go on the shafts that hold the main wheels. So that's 1 large washer on the inside of the wheel and 1 washer on the outside with a cotter pin holding the wheel on. So 4 total... 2 for each side. The package only comes with 2 large washers.. So I called the number on the instructions for tech and parts and the lady on the phone said that they have updated the installation so that you only need 1 washer on the outside of each wheel. She said that a lot of the units still going out read 4 washers on the instructions. I went to ace hardware and bought 2 nylon washers and greased them up and used those on the inside. It took up some of the slack. But i'm sure it will e fine with just the 2 washers. The washers are really thin so it would be really hard to find them.. I tried before I called the number. The nylon washers were the only thin ones I could find. Anyway.. Now that that is out of the way.. Another point I would like to make is that the ball on the adjustable shaft is threaded into a welded nut on the inside of the shaft. It was already on the shaft when I took it out of the box but it was loose so I just tightened it up with my hand. Try to follow the instructions in the steps they provide. It will be easier on you. There are 4 long bolts in the plastic bag that look the same size but they are not. 1 bolt is a little longer so it can reach through the handle and 2 brackets. I didn't check this and jumped the gun and had to take a bolt back out. The directions will give you a parts list and show how many and what size.. Use it. I have included pics .. 1 pic showing the nylon washer I installed on inside of the wheel. Another pic shows large washer on the outside of wheel with cotter pin. Another pic shows how you can adjust the height of the ball. 1 pic shows the swivel wheel mount and the bolts I am referring to when I say 1 bolt is longer than the other 3.

This trailer dolly is quality built, easy to assemble, and extremely useful. The 800lb tongue weight capacity will suffice for most trailers. Quickly manuevering a trailer in/out of the garage and around the stone driveway is now a piece of cake! Shipping was quick...price was reasonable...very happy with this purchase!

This Dolly works great! I am using it with a boat and trailer combination that totals about 3500-4000 pounds.I don't have a whole lot of room in my back yard to finagle the trailered boat with my pickup truck in such a way that I can pull it back out of my yard again. So what I do is pull the pair onto my lawn with my pickup, then uncouple and use the trailer dolly to swivel the boat/trailer into position so I can back my pickup to the trailer tongue and just pull 'er straight out the driveway again. It should be noted that my lawn is very thick and coarse grass, but the base of the turf is what we call in South Florida "sugar sand" so it does tend to be fairly soft ground. Even so, this dolly allows me to at least single-handedly swivel the nearly 2 tons successfully. I can even pull the load forward a bit to optimize position. Pushing, however, is asking a little too much on this soft ground. But it performs better than I expected, quite frankly. I'm pleased with the purchase. There is absolutely no hint of bending or bowing of any components on this dolly with use. It is rock-solid!The "third wheel" is a great feature and makes the pulling easier. The only minor quibble is that the plastic handgrips slip off the handles very easily. It was a simple matter to remove the grips, apply an appropriate adhesive, and slip them back on however. Problem solved.

Very easy to assemble, excellent quality, l use it to move a utility trailer, my boat and my cargo motorcycle hauler. Makes the world of difference if l have to move these things by myself. A good purchase and reasonable price.

Build quality is excellent, works great. I needed something more substantial than the basic dolly I had for a larger enclosed trailer. I was also tired of inflating tires. Ball is 1 7/8" and I may replace that. I didn't think much of the adjustable ball height but when I raised it higher, it really helped maneuvering. It is pricey, but I'm glad I went for it.
