My 2019 GMC 1500 transmition was slipping and miss shifting at 85 deg and above. I changed out the stock thermostat to this one in a matter of 30min. The truck now runs at 60 to 65 with no slipping or miss shifts. The truck Part fit the 8L90 tranmission perfectly

The winter time will really be the test, hoping it does not blow up and destroy my trans , would really leave me shaking my head not buying the superior solutions 80$authentic kit. Anyway its worked wonders. No temps above 165F . Quick/ easy install.
