I would not recommend buying this if you are buying it for a Mercedes engine. Bite the bullet and spend the money on an actual OEM replacement one.

Didn't work at all and since I bolted it on vehichle, I couldn't return it. Bought one from Mercedes and worked just fine. Tip,don't buy anything from anywhere but Mercedes for Mercedes.

Rather simple to swap in and out on 2008 ML320. Solved my over/under boost issues. Should also work fine on other OM642 engines such as on the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Make sure to check the specific number on the side of the actuator and ensure that it matches, there are only a few different variants but it is important that the replacement matches the original version.
