This connector feels like it is very sloppy on fit tolerances. When it is connected it does not have that feel like it locks into place. It has worked for me so far on a radio that sits in place for maybe an hour or two, but I would not trust it on any permanent connection. Pay more and get an amphenol or other KNOWN quality connector
