All pieces are confirmed true-to-size with skip sizes to give a quick visual brake friction material depth measurement. Keep in mind these are plastic, not metal. They will get scratched, gouged, deformed and wear out rather quickly, where the metal ones should last the better part of a career. Good for home garages or infrequent use, or if you're needing to outfit someone for a short-term usage until they (apprentices) get settled in and start building their own tool inventory.

The ULTECHNOVO brake lining thickness gauges is a set of plastic feelers colour coded for OK to replace.The thicknesses of the plastic sections were within 10% of the printed values. Most were within 5%. There is some variation along the plastic due to the imprecision of molding.For just judging where the brake pads are on a scale of new to dangerous, they are fine. Just go by the colours.Reading the values off the feelers is almost impossible. The value is molded into the plastic and requires light at the right angle to be visible. But, does it matter? Probably not.Good for less than $8.
