Bought for use on a folding bike where the original was just a bit too short. Bike os used twice a week commuting into London, and so the post is great having harder markers to know the height you need. Simply get it right once, take a note of the number, and it'll be right every time you ride.

The original seat post of my husband's bike bent so we measured and ordered this one as a replacement. It was a perfect fit and has been a more durable post than the one that came on the bike. I can' t think of anything to improve it.

I bought this to go on my Mongoose Jasper bought at Costco, as the bike was to low for me ( I am 5 feet 9 inches tall) and fit snugly in my recommended 31.6 and bought also on Amazon BRGOOD Comfortable Bike Seat, Wide Bicycle Saddle Replacement Memory Foam Padded Bike Cushion with Dual Shock Absorber Ball Universal Fit fo Indoor/Outdoor Bikes.What a great combo, together makes my biking better !

Unfortunately the real diameter of this seatpost is 31.6mm despite marking on the body "31.8"Very pitiful.I took a measurements of this post and my old one that I wanted to replace with more preferable black aluminium one. No luck.

Too big, the overall size of the pipe I larger than advertised by 1 mm causing it to not fit, have to return both!
