I installed these brake levers on an old bike that had cheap levers with no hoods. These look much better, and have a large hoods which are more comfortable to ride on. I like that they have a quick release button so you can open up ther brake calipers when taking the wheel off or fixing a flat. The bodies are a thick plastic material but they look pretty substantial, and the levers are aluminum.

Have had dozens of levers over the years, from high-end through to junk. These levers, while inexpensive are perfect for me on all counts. They look and feel great. There’s a small casting seam on the hoods but these look high quality and function flawlessly.

I bought these to Swap out the rubber brake hoods on my Tektro rl520 brakes. For $21 CAD I got these brakes which come with rubber hoods that fit perfectly on my old Tektro brakes which I couldn’t find any replacements for. These are a direct copy of the Tektro rl520 brakes. For the price they are very good.

These are exactly what I wanted for an incredible price . It's so hard to find just drop brakes without gear changing levers built in and that takes the min Price to over 100 unless you find used. These hare wonderful super easy to install and look great

These are hands down excellent for the price! They are really good quality and at an unbeatable price. I really like the function that lets you remove the wheel from your bike (it has a little button you can push on each one of them). This feature also helps with tightening your brakes nice and tight!

5/5 on looks4/5 on brake pull action (on return spring)4/5 ease of assembly (cable catch gets a little sticky, otherwise went in well. I highly recommend a flashlight to see the exit channel.)My own stupidity broke the plastic housing that the cable runs through. I forgot to run the brake cable housing into that channel up to where it stops. So the brake cable sliced through it like a hot knife through butter. That is not the product's fault so I am updating my review to reflect it's actual quality. Which is overall, not bad, but the return spring would make it "now we're talking".

The brakes itself is well made.Nice tactical feedback from the levers.The rubber housing feels gripy and thick.Nice old school look to it.

I really couldn't pass up these brake levers as they looked so cool, even elegant! They sold for about the same price of what it would cost for the black hoods alone which I would have bought to go along with the brake levers which I presently had. However, had it not been for the fact that the black hoods on these levers which came complete as one unit had such good coverage that I decided to buy them instead lest I buy a stand alone pair of black hoods that for whatever reason didn't fit right. Along with the black cushy handlebar wraps that I bought, I really ended up with a real professional upgrade to my old vintage Miele bike which originally came with these thin white wraps that really showed the dirt.

Product as described. Quality seems good for the price and the rubber has a good feel to it. Price is great and I was able to transform my fixie with straight bars to drop bars easily.
