I received a ATmega2560 development board along with a USB cable. This board utilizes the ATmega2560 microcontroller. This microcontroller has been around for many years, but is still quite useful for electronics projects because it possesses an abundance of input and output pins which can be connected to various sensors and actuators. This is a great beginners board, but would likely also appeal to more seasoned developers. This development board is nicely soldered, has well labelled pins, and the pin layout is identical to other development boards of this type, allowing one to utilize the numerous shields that are available. I loaded a simple led blink sketch to the board using the Arduino IDE. The sketch worked perfectly, demonstrating that the electronics seemed to be functioning normally. Overall, a nice development board that should appeal to developers of digital devices.

This unit works great and just like the official ones. The PCB and component quality feels solid and I haven't had any issues.
