My 2007 still had the original part which developed a coolant leak, upon removal, I discovered that it had disintegrated and cracked in some areas which caused the leak. This item is a perfect replacement for it. Next time this breaks, I’d probably reroute the 2 vacuum lines directly, instead of connecting it to the two smaller tubes for easier install.

Looks identical to OEM, except for a few areas, such as the metal inserts look different. Installed in a 2008 VW Passat, 2.0t FSI (BPY) and it fit just like OEM. I broke the vacuum port when installing a Brake Booster Line To Intake Manifold Vacuum Hose, 1K0612041GM, as the vacuum hose was cracked in multiple spots. I was careful when removing, I thought, but I cracked the water flange.It helped to have multiple constant tension clamp pliers for removal of the old water flange.

You need to buy this part even though you can’t see it!! It’s definitely cracked on the inside !!
