They do go over the heating vents on the RV.They were a little tough to maneuver on but eventually they went on and hold tight.

First, the rubber seal will not stay in place. Second, after multiple attempts at trying to get the springs in place I simply gave up. I McGiver'd it on using wire.

This is a good vent cover, but the springs are very hard to attach.

Picked this up to keep the critters out of the exhaust vent on out camper. Haven't put it on yet as it was after the camping season and the camper is in storage but will be on in the spring. And seems to be what I wanted.

Seems like it will work, but impossible to attach the springs to the furnace vent. Had to glue the silicone gasket to the screen cover, but still couldn't get the thing to stay on. Would love to see how it actually should be attached

The silicone ring that goes around the bottom does not stay on had to glue it and the springs are difficult to try and get in place

The metal base plate for furnace exhaust on our trailer has 4 screws holding it on. The spring system was ineffective because the screen sat on top of the screws. I ended up bending the screen frame inward to allow screws to be on the outside and not interfering. RTV heat resistant silocone applied, then screen taped in place and then siliconed perimeter. Once cured removed tape and very happy with the result.

The install was some what easy, I would have like four install springs to ensure a nice fit, I do like the silicone gasket supplied with the product.
