As soon as we received this tool, my husband plugged it in to make sure it worked and it started smoking and needed to have the reset button hit. I will be returning this

This does the job, better than harbor freight quality. The cooling fan will spit dirt at you, but what’s some high speed abrasives but a free macrodermal facial. It’s gotten wet and no problems. It does take a second or two longer than you would think for the vibration to start but it’s fine. Sometimes a tap on end to get it going works too.

I've used mine on two concrete pours so far and placed about 2 cubic meters (or 2.5 cubic yards). Works well once you get it vibrating but it's pretty awkward to handle. The trigger lock broke almost immediately which was quite inconvenient because it means you have to control the vibratory end one handed while you hold down the trigger the whole time. All in all it's worth the money, but don't expect it to behave like a high quality tool. And realize it probably won't last very long before things start breaking.

Seems like a pretty good unit. Got it for a single job and seemed to do it well. Takes a second to ramp up but does fine once going. Be sure to get as much grease as you can down the whip before use for best results. Quality whip, decent length on cord, came with spare brushes. Good product for the price.

C’est pas mal, mais pas pour les gros travaux. Dommage qu’il faille taper la tige au sol pour l’activer. jusque-là ça fonctionne.

Finished concrete counters and rented the vibratory. Couple more projects to go and felt I would take a chance on thus tool. The wind was well built good materials. The motor side has aluminum threads take care not to cross thread the reverse threads. Once the coupling felt tight I got two extra revilutions by turning the motor side into the coupling. I will leave this together rather than remove the wand due to the aluminum treading. Results were as aggressive as the rental tool from. The previous job. Great for the handyman. Cheap enough it pays for itself the first use.

Used this once and will return it. The motor kept overheating and would shut down. Do not recommend.

UPDATE AFER USINGTool failed first time out. Beyond return window. Moving on!I opened this up when it got here because my next concrete pour is in the spring. The threads on the motor and the connector wand are LEFT HANDED - took me a while to figure that out. It makes sense, that way it doesn't unscrew itself.Should work fine. Don't drop it - inexpensively made. This is a product made for the homeowner - not a pro that will use the heck out of it, but it was a good purchase for me at this price.

The motor shorted out after 15-20 mins of use. The motor doesn’t have adequate ventilation and caused the winding to heat up. The casing was hot to the touch for about 45 mins after it stopped working. I am being sent another unit and if it runs better i will update this review. Stay tuned.
