This item leaks from two different spots. I had to replace it shortly after installation. Waste of time and money.

Anyone with any kind of mileage on their 1.4 can simply lift their hood and most likely see coolant laying on the transmission due to the factory plastic housing. Terrible choice the factory made for an engine designed to average 215-225 temperature. No plastic over time will hold up and keep a flat mating surface. I stumbled across this and purchased it and installed easily with no leaks. Over 20,000 miles so far and still sealed. I purchased a second one while repairing a deer hit on another Cruze. While working on his I noticed he had the same issue. His is now sealed as well. You would be foolish to purchase another plastic unit when this is available. Only thing I did different was I took my factory coolant sensor and installed it in this new one. I'm not saying the sensor it came with won't work. It's just mine was a recommended AC Delco. By it before you blow a head gasket from that junk plastic factory one.

The pin Grove is too wide with creates slop and doesn't create a tight seal

These look much better than the plastic ORM coolant housings that warp and leak coolant. Time will tell how durable they are , so far very satisfied! I recommend this part and the seller! 👍👍
