My daughter turned 18 and I bought this for a family vacation. The quality of the hat was great, thin and breathable. Fun design and it made her smile.

While shopping for birthday gift ideas, I came across this hat and knew right away that I had to order it. There is a special someone in my life that is turning 18 later this year; I have been wondering what to get her as a gift. I have seen her wear a hat often and I am reasonably certain that she will be happy to receive this one. I noticed the year 2005 displayed, then on further inspection, I saw the message: “18 Years of Being Awesome”; I was sold. I think it is an excellent way for me to let her know that I believe she is awesome.I like that this hat is made of 100% cotton. The fabric is breathable and there are 6 holes that allow air to flow through. This will make it comfortable to wear, even in warmer months. There is a nice fabric band on the inside, around the base, so sweat will not be a big issue. It looks like faded black jeans material. The strap on the back, which is where the size can be adjusted is a buckle. I prefer this over Velcro; because hair will not get caught up in it.I believe this vintage hat was made very well with quality materials and I recommend it for anyone who was born in 2005.

I purchased this cap for my son who turned 18 and he had a different taste for design and features than I realized so this was returned for that reason only. He wouldn't wear it. Actually after I had already returned it he changed his mind and got upset with me for sending it back. Teenagers are very strange. They say one thing and completely turnaround the next minute.
