Will be wearing with a sleeveless black formal dress, not a flapper style. It'sfairly plain and needed something. Decided to wear elbow length gloves and thought this type necklace would lend a slightly vintage look to match. The quality beads are flawless and catch the light which gives it a nice sparkle. The length is adjustable so it's versitile,but I like it long. It feels substantial which helps it hang properly, but is not heavy. It wish matching earrings or bracelet were available but I'm sure I can find something suitable. Very pleased with this purchase.

Shiny obsidian type beads with great swing, weight and variance in texture. Slip it over the collar of a white or colored blouse and your look is instantly pulled together. I can’t quite believe the price because it should have cost more. It looks like artisan jewelry.The packaging is also impressive. A neatly closed cellophane envelope enfolds a black box. Inside the box is a gray velveteen bag laying on a velvety cushion. And inside the bag is the necklace. Makes it a perfect gift for a lady that a man wants to impress just a bit without going broke. And the necklace will certainly be worn as it’s a classic.

I got these to wear with a black dress, but I found them to be so pretty and versatile that I'll be using them with lots of other outfits, both casual and dressy. For the price, this is really an attractive piece that suggests a much more expensive item. I wish the company made them in several other colors!! By the way, it arrives in a nice black gift box and the beads are in a velvet bag -- very nice for gift giving.
