Little softer (dehydrated chicken) than I'm used to. Bit of a white powder? Mold? Dog not quite as excited (Mold?)We'll see...UPDATE: second bag much better - cat loves them. Guessing first bag was just a fluke. Very happy. Kitty, too!

If you are unsure about buying any treats for your dogs, don't hesitate and buy these. I have two reactive dogs and carrying treats on our walks is vital for both me and them to enjoy a smooth and pleasant walk. In the past, we used to buy other kinds of treats but my dogs used to get bored of them very quickly. This doesn't happen with these. A summary of the main advantages: High quality ingredients, good nutritional value, size and texture, and an excellent quality-price ratio. More in detail:Ingredients (4.5/5): The only ingredient is freeze-dried chicken breast that claims to be human grade. The packaging does not clearly state who certifies it as human grade but there is a clear note that it is not for human consumption so the note on the packaging may be a bit misleading. Despite this, being single ingredient and being chicken breast makes it a great option for our pets. It is worth mentioning that the allergen content is also minimal since none of the common allergens for dogs are present such as wheat or soy, however there's no note on the packaging.Nutritional value (5/5): The guaranteed analysis of the treats is minimum 68% protein, maximum 20% moisture, between 1 and 6% crude fat, and maximum 4% crude fiber. Although the packaging does not specify if it has carbohydrates, the carbohydrate content should be minimal due to the nature of the product. This makes these treats an excellent low fat, low carbohydrate, high protein option for our pets. The calorie content of these treats is 45kcal per treat.Flavor, Size and Texture (4.5/5): Although the taste is relative, I can say that my pets like them a lot but they are not their favorite treat. Still, they have never gotten bored of these treats. One of the best things about these treats is that they come in large pieces that can easily be broken into smaller pieces. This provides a variety of options for training a dog, as well as for portioning out the amount of daily treats for your pet, or to break it up depending on the size of your puppy.Manufacturing Standards (5/5): The packaging is really good! The bag is made of thick plastic, and the product can be seen through a transparent section. The bag is perfectly sealed and comes with a couple of desiccant sachets to keep the product dry and mold free. When I bought them the first time, I was concerned that some reviews stated that some treats came with mold and had made their dogs sick. I have bought dozens of bags and this has never happened to us.Price and Value (5/5): This is probably the best aspect of these treats. Although they are nowhere near the cheapest treats on the market in terms of price. I would say these treats offer the best price/quality ratio. Almost a kilo (750g) of pure chicken breast treats for less than 30 dollars seems to me to be a bargain.

My dog had two of these treats and within hours was violently ill. She had uncontrollable vomiting and accidents, mouth foaming and became overall very dehydrated. She's had similar treats from other brands like spot farms and other natural brands with no issues, ever.We had just been to the vet a few days ago for a check up before our flight in a few weeks, a full work up, blood work, and every test to determine she was fit to fly. She came back with a perfect bill of health with no issues in her bloodwork, physical and other tests.I don't usually write amazon reviews, even when I very strongly dislike a product. This however is straight up dangerous. For my dog to get as ill as she had, there is something wrong with these treats.

These are the BEST chicken tenders. Absolutely no other unnecessary ingredients. They are the only ones I will feed my dog as they don't have glycerine, sugar, etc. Nothing but chicken breast. PLEASE START CARRYING THE LARGER SIZE BAG!! That's the only reason I took one star off, because I buy the larger bag in Canada for the same price as this one. What's up with that???

We have 3 Chihuahua's and 1 Yorkie.Our daughter lives next door and has 6 Chihuahua's.Our dogs are fussy the only treat they'll eat is Vita life chicken treats.They all go outside and we yell chicken and come running in the house
