After the stock license plate bracket is removed, and snap him this new plastic cover. the car looks a lot cleaner, without a hole in the body.
Step 1 Remove the original screw

Looks and feels good. Nice n solid. Major design flaw though leaves a large opening where your replacement goes in. Perfect for sand, mud and water to get in and corrode at your connector. I'm going to have to fill it in with silicone or something.

There are ZERO instructions for this base. I’m sure I could YouTube it but this is worth mentioning.Nice design, good adhesive but ZERO installation instructions.

This is a nice little appearance upgrade. The install was simple and took just about 10 minutes. I like the quality of the construction. It's made out of thick ABS plastic, but could easily be mistaken for milled aluminum with a textured finish. I'm actually OK with it being plastic as there is not chance for corrosion or peeling paint. Time will tell the story, but I expect it to hold up just fine and last a long time.

Super easy install once I got the old base off. This antenna base is plastic and SUPER sturdy! It's larger than the old base. It came with a rubber washer to fill in a gap, if needed. I didn't need it.Next, antenna.
