Its a great place to start, it only comes with a basic set of paints. You need more paints if you plan to expand your army or do highlights and whatnot. The models snap together you dont need any glue for this set.

Me llego sin las pinturas, el vendedor amablemente me re-embolso la mitad del costo total; Las figuras de los escuadrones, el pincel, tablero, dados, reglas y pinzas venian completas. Aun asi, yo lo habia comprado por las pinturas :(

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. I'm not very knowledgeable in Warhammer and I was worried about getting a fake. But NO, the kit was authentic and perfect! I'm very happy with the price and very impressed with how fast shipping was. If I need to order more Warhammer stuff for my boyfriend, I'll definitely use this store again.

It's a good starting point, but they really should have tried to include an Agrax Earthshade or some kind of shade. They're fun to use and make a big difference in the results quickly, they were one of the things that made Warhammer painting "click" for me. It just feels like a critical missing piece to not include that.Also personal preference unrelated to the product quality, but I recommend painting the tyranid armor black instead of purple. They look a lot cooler. You can still highlight or do some stuff with the purple. Obviously personal preference, paint how you like! ..also, buy a shade.
